Lancashire Digital Hub is a digital and tech community that aims to enhance Lancashire’s digital ecosystem through collaboration, and community. They work closely with regional and nationwide partners to deliver these engagements aimed at industry leaders, founders, and digital enthusiasts.
Lancashire Digital Hub needed a marketing partner to promote their events, drive event sign-ups, and nurture and grow their digital community. With a mission to connect digital professionals across Lancashire, it was essential to build a strong online presence.
I lead Lancashire Digital Hub’s organic social media and email marketing activity, ensuring we actively promote their events. This includes:
- Planning and publishing regular LinkedIn content to promote upcoming events
- Writing and sharing reactive LinkedIn content recapping on live and past events
- Sending regular community email newsletters to keep members informed about upcoming events
- Leading the event marketing strategy for key events throughout the year
- Championing partners and speakers to extend reach and encourage wider collaboration
Throughout our time together, I have supported Lancashire Digital Hub in creating multiple sold-out events, including large-scale regional annual conferences and summits. I have also successfully increased their organic presence, growing their followers from 331 to over 2,600 (and counting), and consistently securing higher engagement rates across their organic content.
The success of our work together stems from a community-first content marketing strategy that balances value-led events promotions with ongoing engagement. Our LinkedIn content positions Lancashire Digital Hub as a prominent, active industry leader in the region and shines a spotlight on their unique ability to act as community connectors.
